We recently captured this project of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science for Morphosis (Thom Mayne), Good Fulton and Farrell, Balfour Beatty, and Talley Associates.
From the Perot Museum website: Morphosis is known for developing layered architecture that eschews the normal bounds of traditional form. For example, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science features a 54-foot, continuous-flow escalator contained in a 150-foot, glass-enclosed, tube-like structure that dramatically extends outside the building. Unexpected details such as these define Mayne’s style.
